Each round in Chicken POP begins with your chicken on the footpath, looking out at a road lit up by oncoming headlights. Once you’ve set your bet and chosen from Easy, Medium, Hard, or Hardcore, tap Place Bet to begin. After that, every tap of Go sends it darting into the next lane – if it gets across safely, your stake gets multiplied by the figure printed on that lane. You can Cash Out whenever you like or press on for the far kerb and the biggest payout of all.
Your chicken isn’t alone out there. Cars come tearing through the lanes while it waits for its moment. Although there’s a pedestrian crossing painted near the footpath, your chicken won’t be using that – it’s heading out into traffic to multiply your bet.
Features
Reading the Lanes
Before each dash, you can see what’s at stake, because every lane has its Multiplier printed on a small tag. For example, on Medium, the first five lanes could read 1.14x, 1.36x, 1.63x, 1.97x, and 2.43x. An orange ring always glows around the cover your chicken is heading for next.
All the Way Over
All it takes is one car at the wrong moment to splat your chicken. Every step has a chance of failing, and a collision ends the round with your bet and any accumulated earnings lost. Get the chicken all the way across to the final lane of your chosen difficulty, though, and you’re paid at that last Multiplier. Of course, you can always click Cash Out to end the round and claim your winnings.
Difficulty Levels
Hardcore has the largest Multipliers and is the shortest crossing at just 10 lanes, but it’s also the most dangerous. Easy spreads things out over 19 lanes, while Medium and Hard have 17 and 15.
